The focus of AllVert’s Green Energy Audit/Assessment is to provide a quantifiable look at where the real energy efficiency savings opportunities can be found, how your building compares to similar properties in the market, and determine a realistic energy reduction target and investment payback assessment for your building. To do this, we:

• Examine the building envelope to pinpoint potential problem areas such as missing or damaged insulation, mould, structural damage, poorly sealed windows, doors, electrical boxes, light fixtures, outlets, water spouts and vents, as well as caulking, mortar and weather stripping deficiencies.
• Conduct an inventory of energy consuming components and associated operating systems and equipment such as lighting, HVAC, and mechanical and automated control systems.
• Analyze the building’s energy consumption data and perform system modeling to test and evaluate the changes and adjustments required to optimize performance.

The audit/assessment processes used by our consultants are informed by the standards and guidelines developed by Natural Resources Canada, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and other sources.
